This site collects as little as a website can. Here is exactly what happens, and who to write to if you want anything changed or deleted.
One small thing is stored in your browser: if you close the Greece tour message, the site remembers that so it does not show it again. That note lives in your browser only (local storage), contains no personal data, and never leaves your device.
overSTEMed is run by Michael Tzanis, a sole trader based in London, United Kingdom. For anything about your data, write to hello@overstemed.ai.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any web host, GitHub may record the IP address of visitors in its server logs for security reasons. overSTEMed does not see or use those logs. GitHub's own note on data collection explains this.
When you use the contact form or the Greece visit form, what you type (your name, school email, school, and your message) is passed to Formspree, a form service, which emails it to overSTEMed. It is used to reply to you and for nothing else. The legal basis is overSTEMed's legitimate interest in answering an enquiry you chose to send.
Your message is kept for as long as the conversation is live, and for up to two years afterwards so the thread can be picked up again. Ask at any time and it is deleted sooner. Formspree's handling of submissions is described in its privacy policy.
The newsletter is sent only to people who tick the box and ask for it. That is consent, and you can take it back at any time: reply to any issue with "unsubscribe", or write to hello@overstemed.ai, and your address is removed. Your email address is used for the newsletter only. It is never added to other lists.
Signups currently arrive through Formspree. If overSTEMed moves the list to a newsletter service, that service will be named here and will be one based in the EU or with GDPR-compliant terms in place.
The "Book a call" links open a Google Calendar booking page run under overSTEMed's Google Workspace account. What you enter there is covered by Google's privacy policy and by this notice, and is used only to hold and run the call.
overSTEMed's email runs on Google Workspace. If you email hello@overstemed.ai, your message is stored there and used to reply to you.
Under UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can ask to see what overSTEMed holds about you, correct it, have it deleted, or object to its use. Write to hello@overstemed.ai and you will get an answer within a month, usually much sooner. If you are unhappy with the answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK, or to your own country's data protection authority.
If anything on this page changes, the date below changes with it.
